Did Someone Say Tusker Oktobafest?

If you know anyone studying abroad in Europe, you have probably seen pictures of them at Oktoberfest. Well I would like to interrupt the many pictures of people at Oktoberfest and change it up with some pictures from Kenyan's very own Tusker Oktobafest (and no that is not a typo in Swahili October is spelled Oktoba). Tusker is an East African brewed beer and cider company which can be found pretty much anywhere you go in Kenya. On Saturday they kicked off the month of October with their very own Oktoberfest Kenyan style. With tickets only being $10 we decided we would check it out not really knowing what to expect but it blew away out expectations. The festival was massive with a main stage along with some smaller stages. Their was a soccer field, games, beer tasting, and food and of course lots and lots of Tusker beer and cider to go around. We had lots of fun beer tasting, dancing, and eating. I had a blast especially since I spent most of my week in a hospital bed. Its amazing the difference 48 hours can make, but don't worry I took it easy considering I am still recovering. I highly recommend Tusker Oktobafest to anyone who finds themselves in Kenya during October. Pro tip if you buy your ticket at the gate you get two free beers with your ticket.
